Indigenous Kanata is the expression of Charlene Smoke's journey to honour those who came before her while helping create opportunities for those yet to come. As a member of Alderville First Nation, Charlene founded Indigenous Kanata in honour of her grandmother, a Residential School Survivor, and all her ancestors.
Guided by the teaching of the Seven Generations, the business celebrates the diversity of Indigenous Nations by sharing authentic artwork, meaningful stories, and respectful partnerships that help strengthen the Indigenous economy for generations to come.
